Students of the Year (2022 > Current)
The award goes to a junior or senior who best demonstrates the skills and commitment required to succeed in college, business, and life while exhibiting Golden Eagle pride, professionalism, and a strong work ethic all while excelling in academics. (note: No awards were given due to COVID-19 in 2021 & 2020).
Man and Woman of the Year (1972 - 2019)
Each year a group of students was selected to receive Student Achievement Awards, which recognize those students who have excelled not only academically, but also through leadership and service to the University and local community. The students were nominated by faculty and staff in early spring and then complete an application form where they report their involvement in clubs, activities, services organizations and list awards and achievements. Each student was ranked in six categories: GPA, Honors, Leadership, Campus Activities, Community Service, and UMN Crookston Service. The top nominees received the Student Achievement Awards, and from that group, two students were recognized with the year's top academic and student service award, the Man and Woman of the Year Award. These students truly were UMN Crookston's "best and brightest."

Evaluation Criteria
Each student is ranked in six categories: GPA, Honors, Leadership, Campus Activities, Community Service, and UMN Crookston Service.
Nomination Procedure
