Women's Tennis

The Golden Eagles tennis team competes in NCAA Division II, and the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference, one of the division's premier leagues. The Minnesota Crookston tennis team has undergone a complete transformation in the last several seasons. They had their winningest season as a program in 2024 and qualified for their first-ever NSIC Tournament. They are in their third season under Head Coach Josh Lunak, the 2023 NSIC Coach of the Year.

Program Highlights

  • Minnesota Crookston had their winningest season in program history in 2024 and qualified for their first-ever NSIC Tournament
  • Madeleine Schneider earned the Willis R. Kelly Scholar-Athlete Award presented to the top female scholar-athlete in the NSIC for 2024. She is the first person since Angie Swanson in 2001 to earn the prestigious award. 
  • The Golden Eagles have had their winningest two-year stretch in program history
  • Madeleine Schneider also set the school's all-time wins mark in singles and was named All-NSIC First Team in 2023
