Distinguished "Staff Service" Award
The purpose of this award is to promote and recognize excellence in job performance among University of Minnesota Crookston Civil Service, AFSCME Clerical/Technical, and Teamster employees.

How to nominate...
- All University of Minnesota Crookston campus Civil Service, AFSCME Clerical/Technical, and Teamster employees
- A minimum of two full years of full-time (75% or above) employment at the University of Minnesota Crookston
- No individual may receive the award more than one time during his or her employment.
- Length of service shall not be a major criterion for selection.
Nominations may be made by the University of Minnesota Crookston Campus administrators, faculty or staff. Individuals nominated, but not selected in prior years, may be renominated.
Process
- Confirm with the person to be nominated.
- Nominator completes award application and submits two letters of recommendation (comment on extraordinary contributions, people skills, and commitment to excellence). These items are to be emailed to Ken Mendez.
- The award application needs to include the following:
- First and Last Name
- University Work Experience
- Job Performance (Examples of loyalty, creativity, and productivity on the job)
- UMC Service (List clubs, committees, organizations, etc. in which nominee has participated)
