On-Campus Admitted Students

YOU BELONG HERE.
Congrats on your admission! We're excited to welcome you into our campus community. Being admitted is the first step on the road to becoming a Golden Eagle. Use the list below as a reference guide to help make your transition to UMN Crookston feel a little more organized! Welcome to The Flock!
Plans for the Fall 2022: We understand it's important to consider how campus is responding to Covid-19 and how that affects you. This fall, campus is going to look a lot like it did prior to the pandemic, with the majority of classes being held in-person. We'll also have a lot more live, in-person activities happening around campus, including residence halls. You can look forward to experiencing social events on your floors and buildings and open lounges for study and relaxing; the activities that help you get to know your community and classmates. You can feel safe knowing that we'll continue to ensure community spaces are clean and residence halls will continue to maintain appropriate living accommodations for reducing the spread of infection. If you'd like to learn more about what UMN Crookston is doing to Protect the Nest, please feel welcome to contact our office.
Accept or Decline Your Admission
We know this is a huge decision, so please take your time! Whenever you are ready, log into your Golden Eagle Account to make your decision.
Let us know your enrollment decision by clicking "Accept" or "Decline" when you're ready.
If you accept your admission, please continue on to paying your enrollment deposit.
If you decline your admission, please let us know and you can stop here.
Pay Your Enrollment Deposit
UMN Crookston requires an enrollment deposit that covers all costs associated with becoming a Golden Eagle (think: course registration, Welcome Weekend/Transition Crookston, etc.). The $200 deposit is non-refundable and can be paid through your Golden Eagle account. Upon depositing, you will be able to apply for housing and activate your UMN email account.
Are finances holding you back? We are here to help. We understand that the enrollment deposit can be a challenge, so UMN Crookston offers an option to defer the enrollment deposit. Please note: the enrollment deposit is not waived but rather deferred to your student account to be paid with tuition and fees. You can defer your deposit by filling out the following form: Enrollment Deposit Deferment.
If you have questions about paying your enrollment deposit, please contact the Office of Admissions or Brooke Novak.
Visit Campus
If you have not visited our beautiful campus yet, we encourage you to do so! Schedule a Campus Experience where you will meet with an admissions counselor, take a campus tour with a current student, and talk with our Financial Aid office. We will also arrange an in-person or virtual meeting with faculty if available.
Activate Your Account
To ensure you can complete important items like applying for housing and specialty scholarships, you will need to activate your student account.
If you have previously enrolled with a UMN campus as a PSEO, CIHS, non-degree student, or are transferring from another UMN campus, you do not need to initiate your account. If you do not remember your account information, contact 1-HELP at 612-301-4357.
Be sure to remember your UMN Student ID number and password. You will need these for every step throughout this process.
Fill Out the FAFSA
Everyone wants money to pay for college, and the FAFSA is the best way to get that. If you have not already done so, submit and share your FAFSA with UMN Crookston.
Be sure to use the UMN Crookston School Code: 004069
