      • Actively engage with students who approach your booth
Initiate conversations, ask open-ended questions, and listen attentively to their interests and qualifications. Show genuine interest in their career aspirations and provide personalized information about your organization and available opportunities.
      • Offer opportunities for all levels of students
Don't limit your focus to upperclassmen or graduating seniors. Freshmen and sophomores are also seeking career exploration and internship opportunities. Consider offering early-career programs or internships to provide valuable experiences and build relationships with students early on.
      • Prepare informational handouts, brochures, or business cards that students can take with them
Include relevant details about your company, positions, internships, and application processes. Make it easy for students to learn more about your organization and follow up with you.
      • Provide valuable insights and advice to students about industry trends, career paths, and skills in demand.
This positions your company as knowledgeable and invested in their professional growth. Provide guidance on how they can prepare themselves for success in their desired fields.
      • Follow up promptly
After the career fair, reach out to the candidates you met who are potential fits for your organization. Send personalized emails expressing your interest and next steps. Timely follow-up demonstrates your commitment and keeps you at the top of your preferred candidates minds.
      • Stay connected with the university
Maintain a positive relationship with our Career Services office. Explore additional opportunities to engage with students, such as guest speaking, mentoring, or hosting company information sessions.By staying connected, you can further establish your presence on campus and build long-term relationships with students.

Note: If you are an alumni employer, we value your connection to the university community. Please inform us during the registration process if you are an alumnus or alumna of our institution. We will have a special designation or recognition for alumni employers to highlight your unique relationship with the university.
