Trojan and Golden Eagle History

The University of Minnesota Crookston Alumni Association (UMCAA) represents all U of M Crookston graduates from 1968 to the present. Dedicated in 1966, the University of Minnesota Technical Institute, as it was originally called, began offering associate degrees primarily in the areas of business and agriculture. Known as the Trojans, these two-year alumni are a vital part of our history.

In 1993, UMN Crookston began offering baccalaureate degree programs. With this new era of the Golden Eagles, the campus carries on the proud traditions of the past, while establishing itself as an educational leader.

Campus Publications and Homecoming

The official publication of the U of M Crookston Alumni Association (UMCAA) is the Torch. We have also have added an e-newsletter, Torchlight, a companion publication of the Torch magazine that is also for alumni and friends of UMN Crookston.

Homecoming is one of the times we want to encourage alumni to come back to campus. Don't miss out on this yearly tradition, we'd love to see you.
