Chancellor’s Match ($1,000)
Up to the first $100 of any gift to a U of M Crookston fund will be matched until the match is exhausted, so give your gift early in the day.
Examples:
- If you give $300 to a UMC scholarship or fund, $100 will be matched and given to the fund from the match amount.
- If you give a gift of $25, a match gift of $25 will be given to your designated fund.
“Give to the Max Day is a wonderful opportunity to show your support for our campus, students, programs, and more. This match is provided to honor the areas you care about most. Together we can make real differences.”
Mary Holz-Clause, Ph.D.
Chancellor
Note: Due to changes in U of M Foundation gift reporting for this year’s Give to the Max Day, we will likely not be able to notify you until the first week of December if your gift(s) was matched.
Vice Chancellor’s Match ($1,000)
Any gift amount up to $1,000 to the UMC Roger D. Moe Library Fund will be matched until the $1,000 match amount is exhausted. The funds will be used for the priority needs of the library. Give early on Give to the Max Day before the match is exhausted.
Example:
- If you give $125 to the UMC Roger D. Moe Library Fund, $125 will be matched and given to the fund from the match amount.
“Our library at the University of Minnesota Crookston is a special place, serving students, alumni, faculty, staff, visiting researchers, and the community. Its 3-person staff has a unique role in student success and retention, and we are fortunate to have them. They are not gatekeepers of knowledge, but guardians and guides for the campus as we seek knowledge. As Roger Moe declared at the ceremony dedicating the library to his name on June 2, 2023, “having the library named after you is a distinct honor [because] it is the heart of any educational institution.” On Give to the Max Day, I invite patrons and friends of the library to join me in contributing to financial resources to support the library’s mission and activities.”
Rosemary Johnsen, Ph.D.
Vice Chancellor of Academic and Student Affairs
