The health management program provides career-entry opportunities for high school graduates and professional advancement opportunities for healthcare personnel. Career opportunities for students with baccalaureate degrees in health management include management positions in hospitals, long-term care facilities, health maintenance, and other managed care organizations, public health departments, community-based and home health agencies, medical equipment companies, government regulatory agencies, and health insurance companies.

The health management program focuses on developing managerial, administrative, and computer skills, supplementing those skills with an in-depth knowledge of the health care system. The program prepares graduates to offer managerial excellence to employers.
