The minor consists of courses designed to provide students with a technical background, hands-on experiences, and theoretical background that give them a competitive edge in cybersecurity jobs.
Cybersecurity and Information Assurance Minor
This minor is intended for students who are studying in a computer-related field, such as the software engineering and information technology management programs. In addition, students from other programs with a sufficient IT background and the goal of working in cyber security will be able to enroll in this minor. This minor provides students with the technical background, theoretical background, and hands-on experiences that give them a competitive edge in landing cybersecurity jobs.
