Make an appointment for an in-person or online live consultation
Appointments
The Writing Center looks forward to working with students on all stages of the writing process. Students who make appointments will be given priority over walk-in requests. Appointments can be scheduled up to two weeks in advance and guarantee a time slot. To make the best use of consultants' time, we set a limit of three appointments per assignment.
When you come to your consultation bring a copy of your assignment prompt or instructions as well as the current draft of your writing project.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please do so as quickly as possible so that other students can use your time slot. If you miss two appointments in one semester, you will lose your online scheduling privileges.
You will need your U of M Crookston Username and Password to make an appointment. After you have logged into the system, you can choose any OPEN slot. Once you’ve filled in all the required information and clicked “Save,” your appointment will be set.
