Academic Year 2025-2026

The priority deadline for housing applications is May 1. To secure a place to live on campus for the 2025-2026 Academic Year and have the opportunity to select their roommate(s), students must complete their housing application by the May 1 priority deadline. Any applications received after May 1 will be processed and accepted as spaces are available.

Students will complete their housing application via the eRezLife portal (link below). For the application to be considered complete, students are required to pay the $50 application fee and electronically agree to the terms of the housing contract. As long as the application is completed by the May 1 priority deadline, students can use the Roommate Matching section of the application if they are interested in selecting their roommate(s).

Housing Application Process:

  1. Log In to eRezLife
    1. Visit the eRezLife portal and log in using your student credentials.
  2. Navigate to Housing:
    1. Once logged in, find and click on the "Housing" section from the main menu.
  3. Select Housing Overview:
    1. From the Housing section, choose "Housing Overview" to get an overview of the available housing options.
  4. Choose Your Term:
    1. Select the term you wish to apply for (e.g., Spring 2025, Fall 2025).
  5. Complete the Housing Application Subsections
    Some of the key sections you’ll need to complete in the application include:
    1. Personal and Academic Information: Confirm your personal details and academic status.
    2. Housing Preferences: Select your preferred housing options. Please note that there are eligibility requirements for each building.
    3. Roommate Preferences: You can request a specific roommate or be matched with another student. You can also use the RoomeeZ feature to search for a compatible roommate.
    4. Meal Plan Information: Choose your meal plan based on eligibility for the 2025-2026 school year.
  6. Pay the Application Fee
    1. A $50 non-refundable application fee is required.
  7. Review and Acknowledge the Housing Contract
    1. Review the updated 2025-2026 Housing Contract and acknowledge the terms and conditions.
  8. Submit Your Application
    1. Once you’ve completed all sections, review your application for accuracy.
    2. Submit your application.

Completing the Housing Portal Application

All students must answer a set of questions about living with a roommate, regardless of whether they choose to select their roommate. The answers provided will be used to help identify potential roommates who are a good match.

Although parents, families, and caregivers can offer valuable support, this section of the application must be filled out by the students themselves. It's important to be truthful when answering the questions, as providing accurate information will increase the likelihood of being paired with a roommate who shares similar preferences.

Building Preference Requests

Building preferences will be gathered during the housing application process in case Residential Life needs to assign students to a space. However, please be aware that we cannot guarantee that all building preference requests will be accommodated.

Housing Accommodations

Please specify any medical needs that may require accommodation in the designated section of your housing application. Please note that you must also complete the Housing Accommodations process through the Disability Resource Center to initiate an official accommodation request.

Roommates

Students who have completed their housing application by the May 1 priority deadline will have the opportunity to select their roommate by entering their roommates name into the housing application. You can reopen your application to complete this any time before May 1. If there are others you'd like to add to fill in an entire suite of four students, there is a space for that as well on the housing application.

Room Assignment Process

The Room Assignment Process takes place after students complete and submit the housing application (which includes preferences and special requests) and pay the housing application fee. Housing staff then review these details, making assignments based on your preferences, eligibility, and housing availability. Order in which you applied for housing is the main criteria that determines placement. Students are notified of their room assignments in June.
