Get a hands-on learning experience for your class
A College in the High School (CIHS) campus visit engages your students in a hand’s on learning experience at the University of Minnesota Crookston (UMN Crookston). Students who take part in a CIHS campus visit have the opportunity to participate in a research activity, laboratory experiment, or a technology session to better enhance their CIHS learning experience.
The Humanities, Social Sciences, and Education Department at UMN Crookston would like to encourage CIHS classes to make a campus visit to UMN Crookston. By utilizing UMN Crookston faculty, students, teaching materials, and technology resources, high school students will gain collegial experience as they learn. Previous experience, indicates that the impact of these “learning-by-doing” experiences continue long after the activities themselves have concluded.
