Equine Business Management - Major On-Campus

Brand yourself in the equine business management program

Focus on the business and management aspects of the horse and affiliated agriculture industries. Graduates of the equine business management program understand and can manage the daily nutrition, health, and exercise/training needs of the horses in their care. Top it off with the business and management experience necessary to operate an equine or related business.

Equine Business Management is a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree.

Graduates of the equine management program understand and are able to manage the daily nutrition, health, and exercise/training needs of horses in their care. They have the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in equine or equine-related employment and have the business and management experience necessary to operate an equine or related business. The program focus is on the business and management aspects of the horse industry and affiliated agriculture industries, thus providing a broad-based management education which appeals to employers.

Equine Business Management Major Courses

  • This isn’t just a business degree. In this program, you’ll get all the traditional business education for the office but added hands-on curriculum in the barn.

  • Study in our state-of-the-art facility, which is almost 50,000 sq ft and includes 45 stalls, an indoor round pen, a large indoor arena, a breeding lab, and classrooms, all under one roof.
