The Abbey [Promise] Award recognizes alumni who graduated within the past 15 years and have shown evidence of "sowing the seeds" to create transformative change to better humanity - to improve the lives of individuals (including marginalized and vulnerable groups), communities, or the world through their positive work with people, animals, or the environment.

The Torch & Shield Award recognizes individuals who have provided leadership and who have aided in the development of the University of Minnesota Crookston, Northwest Research and Outreach Center (NWROC) and Extension. It is the highest award an individual can receive from the campus.

The Outstanding Alumni Award is the highest honor bestowed on University of Minnesota Crookston alumni by U of M Crookston Alumni Relations and alumni association and has historically been given annually at Homecoming.
