American Federal Bank is the winner of this semester's Maroon and Gold Friday's. Twenty-eight businesses participated September through November 2019. Before students can have an opportunity for learning-by-doing, instructors are involved in a whole lot of doing. For Associate Professor Eric Castle and Assistant Professor Leslie Lekatz, a study abroad trip to Brazil last summer provided opportunities in both horticulture and animal science at the University of Minnesota Crookston.
Students in Rick Abrahamson’s arboriculture class at the University of Minnesota Crookston climbed to new heights this week.
The University of Minnesota Crookston Music and Theater Department will present the theater production “Vanities,” a comedy divided into three scenes. The performance will be held from Friday, November 22, at 6 p.m. through Sunday, November 24. All three showings will be at 7 p.m. in Kiehle Auditorium. Tickets for the musical are $8 for adults, $5
Mahatma Gandhi’s nonviolent resistance in India inspired civil rights movements around the world. In commemoration of the 150thanniversary of his birth, the University of Minnesota Crookston invited students in grades 1-12 to participate in an essay, poetry, and/or art contest.
