For Carrie Bergquist the decision to go back to school was more than preparation for the next step in a career. It was about her two daughters, a better life, and seizing an opportunity. A visit with faculty in the Business Department at the University of Minnesota Crookston was the meeting that sealed the deal for Bergquist.

The University of Minnesota Crookston has been ranked #34 among the “Top 50 Baccalaureate Colleges” in the U.S. by Washington Monthly in its 2019 College Guide. The rankings from Washington Monthly were initiated fourteen years ago when it was decided to rank schools based on what they had done for their country.

The recognition will take place on Friday, September 27, 2019, in Bede Ballroom, Sargeant Student Center. A social begins at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner and the recognition program.
