The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families has awarded White Earth Tribal and Community College (WETCC) a $500,000.00 grant per year for five years.
Jonathon Holland is a two-time alumnus of UMN Crookston. He first attended from 1987-89 while the institution was a two-year school. He chose UMN Crookston based on advice from his father, who said he should find a career that he loves to do so it wouldn’t feel like he was going to work every day.
Jennifer Lax is a senior majoring in criminal justice and communication. She is a member of both the cross country and women’s basketball teams and is in the Criminal Justice Club. In her free time she loves to fish, hunt, snowboard, golf, read, and play video games on occasion.
Karen Good was a member of the last high school class to graduate from the Northwest School of Agriculture (NWSA) in 1968. She was an enrolled member of the Red Lake Band of Chippewa Indians and lived too far from the public school in the area to ride the school bus.
Hi I’m Ellie! At UMN Crookston I was a member of the soccer team, a C.A. (community adviser), and student studying sport and recreation management with a minor in coaching. I can’t forget about working with the awesome grill crew in Evergreen at night! I miss the small campus community and being able to know almost everyone while walking around
