How does the program work?

Students will complete 3 courses, ranging between 7-9 credits, as a non-degree seeking student. Upon earning a 2.5 GPA or higher within those courses, they will be admitted to their desired degree program.

What classes will I need to complete?

You will work with an admissions counselor and advisor from your desired academic program to select the appropriate courses, making sure the courses will transfer into your program upon admission. We encourage you to complete a one-credit Orientation to Online course that is also required for each online program.

How long will I have to complete the program?

12 months from the start of the next semester.

What is the cost and am I eligible for financial aid?

The online cost of tuition and fees is $451.50 per credit.

Students admitted into this program are considered non-degree. Non-degree students are not eligible for financial aid. Upon completing the Earned Admissions program and being admitted into their degree program, students may be eligible for Financial Aid.

What if I decide to attend elsewhere or don't receive a 2.5 GPA after completion of the courses?

If you decide to attend elsewhere and transfer to Crookston you must submit a new application and send official transcripts.

If you haven't earned a 2.5 GPA or above after completion of the courses you will work with your admissions counselor to determine next steps.
