An inaugural lecture series in tribute to former United States Secretary of Agriculture and Minnesota House of Representatives member Robert ‘Bob’ Bergland commences with an event at the University of Minnesota Crookston on December 5, 2024 encouraging co-creation of new ideas to advance agriculture and rural communities.

U of M Crookston fans celebrated during the Teambacker tailgate just prior to the women's soccer game vs Bemidji State University.

August 14 - 20, 2023: Ox Cart Days

The annual Crookston Ox Cart Days was held the week of August 14 - 20, 2023 and U of M Crookston had a major role this year in hosting events and our own Chancellor Mary Holz-Clause was the Grand Marshal in the Torchlight Parade.


August 1, 2023: Night to Unite

June 22, 2023: Teambacker Golf Classic

The 33rd annual UMC Teambackers Golf Classic took place on Friday, June 16 at Minakwa Golf Course in Crookston, MN. This tournament was hosted by UMC Teambackers and raised funds for Golden Eagle Athletics. (note: click on the Facebook icon in upper right of the embedded profile below to view the full Facebook post)


June 8, 2023: Mark Olsonawski Scholarship Golf Tournament

The Mark Olsonawski Scholarship Golf Tournament was held Thursday, June 8 in Hallock, MN at Two River Golf Course. The Olsonawski tournament is an 18 hole, Texas Scramble and raises money for student scholarships at U of M Crookston. Lunch was sponsored by Erickson Smokehouse of Fertile and a tournament gift was sponsored by United Valley Bank and was provided to each player. June 2, 2023: Roger D. Moe Library Dedication

May 8, 2023: Northern Great Plains Youth Institute

Each year, the World Food Prize Youth Institutes convene high school students, teachers, and experts to explore and solve local, national and global hunger and food security issues.
