Northwest School of Agriculture and University of Minnesota Crookston alumni and friends socialize with the Chancellor and current alumni staff. They enjoy lunch, a short program and door prizes, and an opportunity for photos with classmates. The social is held in the Mesa area each February.

The Torch & Shield Award recognizes those who have provided leadership and who have aided in the development of the University of Minnesota Crookston, Northwest Research and Outreach Center and Minnesota Extension. It is the highest award bestowed by the campus. 

The Printing and Design Services, operated through University Relations, offers printing, design, publication layout, and electronic media conversion to faculty, staff, campus departments, and student organizations.
