Lease a Raised Garden Bed

Lease your raised garden beds now in the Allen and Freda Pedersen Community Garden. Beds open May 1-September 30, 2024. Cost is $150 per bed which includes a $50 gift certificate to the U of M Crookston Plant Sale. Bed size is 8x4x2 feet and includes bed prep and weekly watering. All proceeds benefit the U of M Crookston Horticulture department. Plant your food grade flowers, crops, and vegetables. Download the informational flyer (PDF)

About Outreach & Engagement

The office of Outreach and Engagement leads and coordinates promotion, planning and partnership efforts of the University. Collaborating internally and externally to establish and advance U of M Crookston's reputation as a premier provider of education through appropriate relationships with corporate and community partners facilitating student needs such as internships, sponsorships, etc. The Director oversees management, coordination, and leadership of University community programs, including strategic visioning and planning, and program budgeting and fundraising. Overseeing the coordination of special events, including but not limited to building dedications, campus and community events, invited speakers, celebrations and routine annual events. It is through the Office of Outreach & Engagement that the campus continues to build alliances and partnerships to deliver innovative programs and services in support of regional community and pathways for individuals to be involved with U of M Crookston as students, supporters and funders, while working effectively within and between U of M Crookston admin offices, campus committees and academic units.
