Business Department Assessment Process
The assessment for each program learning outcomes is similar in each program and shown in the figure above. Each year, the faculty members in each program gather data to evaluate students’ performance. The data is collected from different works including projects for core courses, course assignments, capstone projects, etc. The students’ performance in those activities is compared with goals set by faculty in a program. If students’ performance is not satisfying, the faculty proposes suggestion for improving the teaching process to ensure that students’ performance is enhanced. If students’ performance is satisfactory, faculty members continue performing the assessment as it is a journey that never ends.
