The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families has awarded White Earth Tribal and Community College (WETCC) a $500,000.00 grant per year for five years.
Karen Good was a member of the last high school class to graduate from the Northwest School of Agriculture (NWSA) in 1968. She was an enrolled member of the Red Lake Band of Chippewa Indians and lived too far from the public school in the area to ride the school bus.
Hi I’m Ellie! At UMN Crookston I was a member of the soccer team, a C.A. (community adviser), and student studying sport and recreation management with a minor in coaching. I can’t forget about working with the awesome grill crew in Evergreen at night! I miss the small campus community and being able to know almost everyone while walking around
Shane Mendez is a proud family man, a current graduate student, and a police officer in the city of Crookston, Minn. When he has free time he spends it with his wife and three children. He’s also a ferocious reader, plays the guitar and the drums, and loves taking long walks on the beach when he’s not in Crookston.
Bailey Mulcahy is a communication major and volleyball player from Fertile, Minn. Mulcahy is extremely competitive and displays this trait in a range of hobbies including board games, cards, and playing sports such as volleyball, softball, golf, and basketball. She also loves watching movies, her favorite being Field of Dreams.
