Current UMN Crookston student-athlete Connor Humble, a name journalists can only dream about, was kind enough to share his experience as a Golden Eagle and just how his degree landed him his dream job.

Greetings from the University of Minnesota Crookston, and welcome to the second half of this unusual school year. We have welcomed new students; international and domestic, who arrived on campus in early January and the Golden Eagle athletic events and activities continue to keep many of us entertained and busy.

Before becoming partners in life, Holly and Kip Kovarik were active classmates and Skyberg Hall residents in the late 90’s at the University of Minnesota Crookston.

Dave Currier 1974 loves a challenge. He is a successful businessman, a recent winner of The Motorcycle Cannonball race across the country, and he has traveled the world traversing many mountain landscapes for sheep.

Arlone (Thoreson) Cymbaluk is a graduate of the 1948 advanced class of the Northwest School of Agriculture. After the closure of her country school within the area, Cymbaluk chose to begin her high school education at a school close to her hometown of Climax, Minn.
