On Monday, October 21, from 4 - 7 p.m. the University of Minnesota Crookston will be hosting “Tips & Tricks: Beginner Field/Fowl Hunting.” This is a free event with preference given to women, ages 18-44, but if men would like to learn more, they are welcome to attend pending space availability. Dinner will be provided. 

This event, sponsored by UMN Crookston, MN Department of Natural Resources, and UMN Crookston Trap Team,  benefits women who are interested in learning more about the basics of waterfowl hunting and preparation. 

The event will feature cooking recipes, waterfowl identification, field dressing, map skills, how to get started, what to wear, and how to work a field.
