Royalty were crowned, students were recognized for achievement, and alumni gathered for the 45th Annual Ag Arama at the University Teaching and Outreach Center at the University of Minnesota Crookston. This year's event was dedicated to Professor Lyle Westrom, and the theme for the day was "Raised on Country.”

The 2020 Ag Arama Royalty included King: Paul Hendrickx, an agricultural education major from New York Mills, Minn.; Colten Schrempp, an ag systems management major from Victoria, Minn.; Matthew Vettleson, an animal science and agricultural business double major from Oklee, Minn.; and Wyatt Wardner, an agricultural business and agronomy double major from Grafton, ND. 

Queen: Lydia Hansen, an animal science and agricultural business double major from Vining, Minn.; Elysia Morris, an animal science pre-vet major from Deer River, Minn.; Emma Bliss, an animal science pre-vet major from Nevis, Minn.; Jordyn Newberg, an agricultural education major from Deer River, Minn.; and Grace Ruckheim, an agricultural education major from Parkers Prairie, Minn. 

Prince: Samuel McGregor, a natural resources law enforcement major from Hastings, Minn.; Estel Jaszczak, an ag systems management major from Lancaster, Minn.; Luke Trandem, an agronomy major from Crookston, Minn.; and Nate Rehder, an animal science major from Barnesville, Minn.

Princess: Veronica Schwartz, an agricultural education major from Parkers Prairie, Minn.; Elizabeth Reich, an animal science major from Waubun, Minn.; Jessica Olson, an ag systems management major from Warren, Minn.; and Mandy Swenson, an agronomy major from Tumalo, Ore.

Emma Bliss, a senior animal science pre-vet major from Nevis, Minn., was honored with the True Grit Award. The True Grit Award is dedicated to Todd Opsahl, a student in 1973-74 and it is the most coveted of all awards presented at Ag Arama.
