The Northwest Research and Outreach Center (NWROC) has announced the hiring of Peyton Loss in the position of Researcher 2 to assist with Associate Professor Lindsay Pease's nutrient and water management program. Peyton is from Brainerd, Minn., and is a recent spring 2022 graduate from the University of Minnesota Crookston's agricultural business program.
"She began working on Lindsay's program as a sophomore and is excited for the opportunity to continue working in agricultural research," said Maureen Aubol, NWROC director.
Outside of work, Peyton enjoys spending time in the field or duck blind with her Springer Spaniel, Lucca. She also enjoys reading non-fiction books; her current read is "The Farmer’s Lawyer" by Sarah Vogel - the lawyer who defended North Dakotan farmers during the 1980s farm crisis.
