Outstanding Community Service Award
This award was first presented in 1999 to recognize the contributions UMC faculty and staff make within the larger community of Crookston and the region. Individuals who receive this award are truly bridge builders who understand that UMC is not an island, but an integral part of northwest Minnesota. They freely and openly share their talents and gifts, adding value to the entire region and reinforcing UMC's outreach mission.

All University of Minnesota Crookston employees are eligible. No individual may receive the award more than one time during their employment.

Shall be comprised of a committee of former recipients.
Nomination Procedure
Nomination Procedure
Nominations may be made by University of Minnesota Crookston campus administrators, faculty, or staff. Individuals nominated, but not selected in prior years, may be renominated. Nominator completes award application and submits two letters of recommendation. Deadline is Friday, April 14, 2017.
