The trip was hosted by U of M Crookston May 4–14, 2025, and was open to students from all five U of M campuses including online learners.

Forty-eight awards were handed out in five categories including Student Employment, Student Leadership, Academic, Student Voted, and Student of the Year.

This event is being organized by U of M Crookston’s Project Management class as a way to bring the community together for a meaningful cause.

The first three events are themed and hosted by a U of M Crookston international student, and the final multicultural show takes its guests on “A Journey through Jazz & Culture” with an array of food and student performances.

Students Clara Hanson, Noah Mahlen, and Anaka Lynse completed a marketing plan for Suckerpunch, a company known for its bold and flavorful pickles as well as other pickle related products.

A public comedy show for the community was also held the next night at the Grand.

The Mid-Autumn Festival is a harvest festival held to thank the gods, and celebrated in East and Southeast Asia on the 15th day of the eighth lunar month.

Harouna Maiga, Ph.D. and Instructor Terrill Bradford, M.Ed., and 15 Agriculture and Natural Resources students traveled May 5-20 to Rouen, Normandy, Paris, and other regions in France

Jackson Fuller, Tristan Morneault, Braden Schmitz, and Connor Thoennes have taken the opportunities that came their way and ran with them.
