The 51st annual Ag-Arama was hosted on January 24, 2026 and brought together students, alumni, and community members to celebrate the heart of University of Minnesota Crookston agriculture through showmanship, leadership, and legacy. There was a variety of livestock shown throughout the day including beef and dairy cattle, goats, sheep, swine and western style equestrian.

While animal showmanship is a large part of Ag-Arama, the event offers so much more thanks to our strong partnerships with various agricultural clubs on campus. Ag-Arama features a wide range of competitions, including crop judging, agricultural business, natural resources and photography. Each event plays a vital role in showcasing the diverse talents and expertise of students in different areas of agriculture. These competitions demonstrate the depth of the agricultural field at UMN Crookston, a leader in agriculture, education, and innovation.

This year’s event was especially meaningful as it was dedicated to Rose (Iraci) Ulseth 1987, a beloved UMN Crookston alumna and long-time employee, who passed away on January 30, 2025. Rose was the heart of our Alumni and Donor Relations office, greeting everyone with her warm smile and genuine care. Her unwavering love and support for our Golden Eagle family and all UMN Crookston alumni, students, and events, such as Ag-Arama, made our community stronger. Rose will forever be remembered.

A huge thank you to our club officers, chairmen, emcees, club advisor, judges and sponsors. Ag-Arama is a large and complex event, and the amount of effort, people, and dedication that go into planning it cannot be overstated. Thank you for all the hard work to make this club thrive.
