Research Interests
- I am currently working on research projects regarding access to food in our community, decision-making regarding food; race and ethnicity in decision-making in agricultural careers; sexual assault prevention practices; and art and sustainability.

- M.A. in Sociology from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, ND.
- Ph.D. in progress (ABD) in Educational Foundations and Research from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, ND.
Biography
- Lacey Anderson is a Lecturer in the Humanities, Social Sciences, and Education (HSSE) Department. She teaches courses in Sociology including Introduction to Sociology, Social Gerontology, Social Research Methods, Sociology of the Family, and Cultural Anthropology. She also teaches Humanities: Culture and Technology. Topics of interest include gender, families, social class and inequalities, race and ethnicity, and culture.
Lacey has experience working in the non-profit sector at a domestic violence and sexual violence prevention and response agency. She brings this prior experience to the university by teaching courses on violence prevention and incorporating aspects of social change and social justice into her courses.
