The University of Minnesota Crookston has been ranked #34 among the “Top 50 Baccalaureate Colleges” in the U.S. by Washington Monthly in its 2019 College Guide. The rankings from Washington Monthly were initiated fourteen years ago when it was decided to rank schools based on what they had done for their country.
Constitution Day is September 17thand the University of Minnesota Crookston is recognizing this day with discussion on an important provision of the Constitution: The U.S. Census. Like other educational institutions, we are committed to our public purpose, which includes educating our students and others on information critical to our democracy.
Over the summer, the University of Minnesota Crookston hosted the Teambacker Golf Classic at the Minakwa Golf Course in Crookston and the Mark Olsonawski Scholarship Golf Tournament at the Two River Golf Course in Hallock. The University of Minnesota Crookston will recognize the achievements of its exceptional alumni during the annual Alumni Awards Celebration. The recognition will take place on Friday, September 27, 2019, in Bede Ballroom, Sargeant Student Center. A social begins at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner and the recognition program.
​ The University of Minnesota Crookston ranks at the top of the latest rankings from U.S. News released in early September. In the category “Midwest Top Public Regional Colleges for 2020,” the U of M Crookston ranked in the number one spot. The campus has ranked in the top four consecutively for 23 years. Edit media ​
