UMN Crookston Ag Education students recently recognized by The Minnesota Agricultural Education Leadership Council (MAELC) as two 2021 Minnesota Teach Ag Ambassadors. Britton Fuglseth and Faith Kowalke, sophomores, were chosen along with four others from Minnesota institutions that train future agriculture teachers.
This is the week at UMN Crookston, one many have been awaiting as students are wrapping up final projects and presentations and taking final exams. Some will be concluding the week with commencement.
Four faculty, including UMN Crookston’s Katy Chapman Ph.D., Math, Science and Technology, and David Syring, PhD., Department of Anthropology, Sociology & Criminology, College of Liberal Arts, and Jennifer Liang, Ph.D, Department of Biology, Swenson College of Science and Engineering along with Peter Murdock, PhD., Levin Institute on the Environment
Chemistry Department of Math, Science and Technology Timothy Dudley, Ph.D. teaches general chemistry lecture and lab courses at the University of Minnesota Crookston. Dudley, committed to providing a quality educational experience in chemistry for his students, is a dedicated adviser to students in the health science and medical lab science program
The UMN Crookston Horticulture Department kicks off its annual spring bedding plant sale Thursday, April 29. Sales are encouraged through their online catalog and virtual sales option. Due to COVID-19 protocols, online sales are on a first-come, first-served basis and will be reviewed and filled as supplies last. Pick-up dates will be scheduled
