CROOKSTON, Minn. - The UMC Teambackers held a business after hours tailgate Tuesday, June 29 on the campus of the University of Minnesota Crookston. The event was a celebration of summer and an opportunity for people to socialize and to foster community on campus.

“It was great to see so many familiar faces at our business after hours tailgate,” Derek Martin said. “After the 2020 we had it felt good to gather again in person and celebrate UMN Crookston. We have such a great community of Golden Eagle supporters and we just wanted to thank them for all they do.”

The event featured games, a grill out, and time to visit and interact with people on campus. It is part of the University’s plan as UMN Crookston is easing into a return to work on campus August 2. “If you can continue to work from home, we encourage you to do so until our planned return to campuses on August 2,” said Gabel.
