The University of Minnesota  Crookston Cheer Club will be hosting a mini cheer clinic on Saturday, October 12 from 9 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. The camp is open to children from ages 4 to 18 years and has a cost of $30 which can be paid the day of the camp with cash or a check made out to “UMC Cheer Team.” Participants should be dropped off at the University of Minnesota Crookston campus mall.

Participating children will learn chants, cheers, jumps, stunts, pyramids, and dances. At 11:35 a.m. the whole group will go out to the field  and children will then find their families in preparation for the UMN Crookston football game. At half time the UMN Crookston Cheer team will wait for participants and together will perform what they learned.

Participants are encouraged to wear a t-shirt or jersey, comfortable pants or shorts, tennis shoes, have their hair up (if applicable), and bring a water bottle.
