Maintaining a safe and healthful environment
The University of Minnesota Crookston Department of Environmental Health and Safety (DEHS) office is a branch of the system-wide Twin Cities Health, Safety, and Risk Management. We provide comprehensive services and implement programs designated to protect the health and safety of faculty, staff and students.
We are all responsible for maintaining a safe and healthful environment. We can work with you to prevent accidents, report unsafe conditions, learn safer techniques, get necessary training, and work within applicable regulations.
The DEHS is here to help. We will work with you to solve a particular problem, develop and implement strategies for ensuring your health and safety, and improve training programs. We will investigate particular health and safety concerns. The UMN Crookston is committed to providing a safe and healthful environment for all students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
