Marisa Nix is a senior, majoring in Communications. She will be graduating this spring with a Bachelor’s of Science Communications with an emphasis on Communication Studies. Rachel McCoppin, Ph. D., professor of English at the University of Minnesota Crookston, recently published a book titled The Ecological Heroes of Amerindian Mythology. The book was published by Kendall Hunt this past January.

A new department structure designed to help better respond to student and workforce needs is taking shape at the University of Minnesota Crookston (UMN Crookston). A move to two large academic units from the current four-department arrangement will better serve the more than 1,800 students enrolled on campus and online at UMN Crookston.
