Summer to Me
Family and friends.
All day bonfires that never end.
Floating on water.
Hiking the trails.
Competitive yard games determine who pales.
Flip flops and tank tops.
The barbeque grill.
Booming thunderstorms give a good thrill.
Sun kissed faces.
Slow starry nights.
Birds and dragonflies all taking flight.
Music and reading.
Snooze beneath a shade tree.
All the best moments, summer to me.

My favorite things to do during the summer involve road trips (with the window down, awesome 90s music blaring, and a large cup of coffee), enjoying outdoor eateries and coffee shops with friends (minus the mosquitoes), and exploring the downtowns of small towns.
My favorite summer time activity is eating copious amounts of potato salad. My waistline is very thankful for the short Minnesota summers. Seriously though I enjoy being outdoors whether it’s gardening, fishing, hiking, walking our dogs, or going for a bike ride. I love the warmth of summer.
Friends and Family
Summertime means lots of quality time with family and friends. We try to spend as much time as we can at the lake. It also means weekly golf outings with my girlfriends.
Family Lake Time
My favorite thing to do in the summer is go to the lake with my family! We like to go wake surfing behind the boat while enjoying the sunshine and quality time together! Nothing like a Minnesota summer!
Cruisin' Minnesota Lakes
My favorite thing to do during the summer is cruise the lake and cast a line or admire the waterfront homes as we drift by. I also take a lot of photos so during those cold winter months I can reminisce and dream of sunshine on the water.
My favorite thing to do in the summer is getting out on the lake with my family. Whether it's fishing or tubing, there's always a story to tell! I also love swimming in my backyard pool, tending to my chickens, walking my dog along the trails, and working in my gardens.
