Purpose

The Care Team is a multi-departmental committee that addresses issues related to student health and wellbeing and how it affects behavior on campus. The committee counsels on student concerns and creates actionable plans to connect students with resources and counsel faculty/staff in handling student needs and behavior. The Care Team is chaired by the Dean of Student Engagement & Wellness.

Support for Students

Care Team's main objective is to support students' health and wellbeing by connecting them with campus resources and, in some cases, off-campus resources. The Care Team will gather information, and work together to determine an individual case management plan geared toward getting the support they need.

Meetings

During the academic year the Care Team meets weekly, and meets as needed if there are time-sensitive concerns. During the summer, the Care Team is convened as necessary.
