Meal Plans
In order to meet campus dining needs, Sodexo has several meal plans to choose from. If you need to purchase a meal plan, or if you would like to make a change to the plan you have already selected, simply contact Jamie Heising, Office Manager - Jamie.Heising@sodexo.com.
Flex Dollars (Eagle Bucks)
Students and employees not on a meal plan are able to buy Eagle Bucks and have them loaded onto their UCards. The Eagle Bucks on your UCard function as a debit card (as at any of UMC’s food venues, as well as at Hong’s Chinese Restaurant). Eagle Buck purchasers can receive an extra 10% bonus (e.g. $110 of Eagle Bucks for $100) when they buy at least $100 of Eagle Bucks. Employees can purchase Eagle Bucks with a check, cash or credit card from the Eagle’s Nest cashier.

The Office of Student Affairs and Sodexo (UMC’s Food Service management partner) are establishing a process by which students in a financial crisis can receive Emergency Meal Tickets. This short term resource is intended to help students in need to put together a sustainable plan to address the crisis at hand. Employees should direct students in financial crisis to contact Savala DeVoge - devog007@crk.umn.edu or the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships to discuss the program and other options.

These represent only a starting point, however. Our commitment to you is to customize menus as needed for any occasion. Whether your event is a breakfast meeting, a faculty luncheon or a retirement party, you will find that we offer fresh ingredients, creative preparations, elegant presentation, and thoughtful service. We would be pleased to help you design a menu for your next event.

Sodexo, UMC’s Food Service management company, is looking for student workers to fill a variety of positions for all of its food venues and catering operations. These are non-federal College Work Study position. Students are paid for their hours of work and are provided a meal during each of the shifts they work.
