The median wage for manager-level positions with professional sports teams ranges from $65,000 - $125,000. However, median wage for entry-level positions range from $35,000 - $42,000. The median wage for coaches and scouts in 2010 was $28,340. The median wage for athletes and sports competitors in 2010 was $43,740.
