Business Majors at UMN Crookston Compete at Sport Marketing Association Conference in October
The University of Minnesota Crookston Event Planning and Management class in conjunction with the C4 group will be hosting an event titled “Creating Connections - Let’s Be Social” on Wednesday, November 7 at 6 p.m. in Bede Ballroom , Sargent Student Center. If you own a business or work for a local business and are looking to expand your social media presence, you should attend this event. The event is free and open to the public. Free parking is available in Lot A. Light refreshments will be provided.
Some of the topics include how to use social media for business promotion, the pros and cons of using social media, and how to create graphics for social media. The event will feature information and presentations from UMN Crookston students, a panel of presenters, and hands-on work designing graphics. You may bring your own laptop or one will be provided for use during the session.
