Senior Vice Chancellor Rosemary Johnsen is spearheading a series of arts events at the University of Minnesota Crookston to connect community members with the region's diverse histories.
The community partnership behind Crookston’s annual National Night Out celebration, locally known as Night to Unite, has been recognized with a 2026 Community Partner Award from the Seed Coalition. The recognition highlights the collaborative effort among local partners makes the event one of largest community gatherings.
Wood served as the campus chancellor from 2012-2016, and those who spoke at the event referenced his “always welcoming” demeanor which made the dedication fitting.
UMN Crookston was among 84 awardees selected from dozens of colleges and universities across Iowa and Minnesota.
The Bergland Lecture Series has been created to ensure ongoing interaction with all members of the agriculture ecosystem.
Interviews at UMN Crookston will be held in the Kiehle Building Thursday, January 7, 2025 from 1-7 p.m. and Friday, January 10, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
